On Saturday the 23, a few chapter women traveled to Roanoke to volunteer at the Walk for Leukemia. Sisters were in charge of a table and a "Wishing Tree" before the event began. Walk participants had the ability to hang up their own wish on the tree.
During the past week, chapter women participated in Delta Delta Delta's fall philanthropy, "Fitness, Flapjacks, and Football". Participants had a blast eating pancakes, working out at McComas Hall, and playing football in support of St. Jude's Children's Hospital. In the same week, Eta Pi also participated in FarmHouse's philanthropy. Chapter women loved participating in FarmHouse's "PDA" aspect of their philanthropy. Women tweeted, Facebooked, and showed the FarmHouse men their love all week. Girls also went to Moe's for percentage night, and participated in FarmHouse's first Mud Run on Saturday the 29.
On Friday the 28, chapter women headed two hours north to James Madison University to participate in installation ceremonies for Alpha Delta Pi's newest colony. James Madison University welcomed 201 new Alphas to their newest colony. Eta Pi couldn't be happier to have so many new sisters close to Blacksburg, and can't wait to be more involved with the new colony.
Chapter women have been working hard and looking forward to the upcoming week as their fall philanthropy, Safari Hunt, takes place October 2, 3, and 4.
