This past month, Alpha Delta Pi sisters have been hard a work to finish out the semester strong academically and philanthropically.
To get sisters from all sororities in the true holiday spirit of giving, the Virginia Tech Panhellenic Counsel has worked with Toys for Tots in the Blacksburg community to put donation boxes in each sorority house in Oak Lane. Sisters of ADPi have been excited to donate to the campaign in hopes of bringing the children of Montgomery county a happy holiday season.
ADPi would also like to wish the Ronald McDonald House in Roanoke a wonderful holiday!
In celebration of the end of another wonderful, albeit challenging semester at Virginia Tech, sisters of ADPi will be having a sisterhood event this upcoming Friday. The event will be a tacky sweater party complete with snacks, holiday movies and holiday songs. Sister’s can’t wait to (hopefully) relax after the first week of finals and enjoy time together as we say farewell and good luck to our fall 2011 graduates.
ADPi is also planning having a packed study hours this week as sisters prepare for final projects and exams. Our scholarship chair, Emma Schmitt has worked hard this year to have study hours be a fun, weekly event in which sisters get together to do homework in each other’s company.
